Supported Living
Supported Living helps adults 18 and over live independently or semi-independently outside a group home or family home while still receiving some supervision or support with daily living tasks.
In this program, the person served lives with a registered supportive roommate, an individual or family carefully matched to make sure they are a good fit and can provide the right support.
How Supportive Roommates Are Selected
Complete an application and interview
Undergo police record and vulnerable sector checks for themselves and household members aged 12 and older
Provide up-to-date immunization records for themselves and household members aged 12 and older
This process ensures a safe and supportive living environment for everyone involved
